    B. Partitiivi: Mitä sä syöt? Mitä sä ostat?

    • Make a list of five things that you might eat and drink for lunch. Make the partitive form of the words.  

    Here are the formation rules to help you: 

    1.kahvi -> kahvia

    • 1 vowel at the end -> a/ä

    • doesn’t apply if the vowel is e

    
    

    2. tee -> teetä, olut -> olutta

    • 2 vowels at the end -> ta/tä

    • consonant at the end -> ta/tä

    
    

    3. tuore –> tuoretta

    • e  at the end: tta/ttä 

    
    

    4.suomalainen -> suomalaista 

    •nen -> sta

    
    

    • Take turns asking each other: Mitä sä syöt lounaaksi? Mä syön… (For example: Mä syön perunaa, tofua, porkkanaa ja kaalia. Juon vettä.
