    B. Partitiivi - the partitive 

    1. Read and translate the small dialogue on page 61. The bolded letters are endings for the partititive case.

    2. Under the dialogue, you have a recipe for traditional salmon soup on the right, and a list of the ingredients in the nominative (or dictionary form, or basic form) on the left. 

    • Translate the ingredients
    • Discuss: what changes happen in the words in the partitive (the form in the recipe) when compared to the nominative (perusmuoto)?
