    Use the given template to write an appeal targeted to administrative court, concerning a land use plan.

    Further intstructions are given by Ari Ekroos during lectures on week 39!

    Deadline Wednesday 5.10.2022 at 23.59. Note that late submission will lower your points by 1/starting day.

    Instructions
    Write an appeal (max 2 pages) to administrative court on planning decision (master plan or detailed plan), that you are interested in (e.g. Espoo, Helsinki, Vantaa, Turku, any other). Choose a viewpoint of company, municipality, authority, neighbor, or other.

    Focus on specific theme in your appeal. The theme could be e.g.

    •building rights
    •traffic
    •nuisance, pleasantness, aestethics
    •parks and other green areas

    You will get further instructions from Ari Ekroos on week 39 (starting from September 26)!

    1. Draft an agreement concerning sale of real estate (in accordance with Finnish Code of Real Estate)

    2. Draft an agreement concerning sale an apartment (in accordance with Finnish Limited Liability Housing Companies Act)

    3. Describe essential differences between these two agreements (max. 2 pages)

    Note that in this assignment, there is no given format for the contracts. You can use google to find you an example, but be critical towards the forms. For example, it is not common to explain the different parts of the sale price (e.g. building and utilities separately)!

    Choose an institution in real estate economics, regarding your own interest.

    •Examples: land ownership, land market, cadastral system, land use planning system, land/real estate tax, housing, etc.
    •Describe the elements of the chosen institution, for example from regulative/normative/cultural-cognitive aspects
    •Discuss about the connections between sustainability and the institution you have chosen. You can either handle sustainability as whole, or choose only some dimension of it (economic/environmental/social).
    •Use appropriate references (scientific articles) and remember to cite. Search the materials from Scopus/Googe scholar/other search engines.
    •4 to 8 pages (excluding cover page)
    •Upload your essay on MyCourses (3 upload possibilities: mid-term feedback, draft version on TurnitIn and final essay on TurnitIn, final essay will be graded)
