  • Materials

    • This section contains important information on how we will proceed with the material orders for your prototype. The budget is 70€ per project, please note that we use internal billing for most of the workshops, meaning your 70€ goes straight to the workshop so no need to order any materials yourself unless it is something special, that does not include to the normal workshop storage. Such materials are e.g., many textile fabrics, hinges, locks, ropes and special plastics.

      To estimate the cost, go to e.g. metal storage. Compare by trying, for example to bend different thickness /sizes to get an understanding on strength and weight. As an example, steel costs about 4€/kg and other metals are considerably more expensive. You should after that have a chat with workshop masters to narrow down your estimation.
