  • Exercises

    Theory exercises: Participate to weekly theory exercises  - not compulsory, but highly recommended - max 3 points. If you attend 1-2 times, you get 1 point. If you attend 3-4 times, you get 2 points. If you attend 5-6 times, you get 3 points.

    Computer exercises: Participate to weekly computer exercises  - not compulsory, but highly recommended - max 3 points. If you attend 1-2 times, you get 1 point. If you attend 3-4 times, you get 2 points. If you attend 5-6 times, you get 3 points.

    Note that all the exercise classes are given on campus. There are no remote groups. 

    As total, you can get 3 + 3 = 6 points from attending the exercises. In order to earn the exercise points, you have to arrive on time to the exercise session and write your name to the participation list. You can not get any exercise points without attending the exercises.

    Homework

    Theory homework: Solve the theory homework problems and be ready to present your solutions in the exercise group - not compulsory, but highly recommended - max 3 points. Note that your solution does not have to be perfect or even correct --- trying your very best is enough! If you solve your theory homework assignments 1 time, you get 1 point. If you solve your theory homework assignments 2-3 times, you get 2 points. If you  solve your theory homework assignments at least 4 times (out of 5 times), you get 3 points. The first theory homework problems are given in the end of the file 1theory.pdf. (See the first theory exercise folder below.) These problems are to be solved before the second theory exercise class.  Similarly, the theory homework problems for the following weeks are given in the end of the files 2theory.pdf, 3theory.pdf, 4theory.pdf and 5theory.pdf.

    Computer homework: Solve the computer homework problems and be ready to present your solutions in the exercise group - not compulsory, but highly recommended - max 3 points.
