      The total score is a weighted average of all scores = 0.1*Activity + 0.4*Project + 0.5*Homeworks. The project score depends on literature review, experiments, talk, final report and self-grading. Groups with less participants are compensated in the grade. Feedback of the project report and talk will be provided on request.

      Every submitted lecture exercise, kahoot or feedback gives 1.0 points. Additionally, every correct answer in the kahoot quizes give 0.2 points The maximum amount of activity points from Kahoots (Kscore) is 9 and Lectures (Lscore) is 24, so totally 33. Additionally, one bonus point is given from returning the course feedback form. The sum of these is converted to activity score (Ascore)" by formula:  Ascore = (activity points - 9)/(0.8*33-9)*4.5. Negative values are rounded to zero. The Ascore has weight 0.1 when computing the total score.

      Home exercises 2022 Tiedosto PDF

      The five home exercises give totally 86 points. The sum is converted to the home exercise score (Hscore) by formula:  Hscore = (points from exercises - 36)/(0.9*86 - 36)*4.5.  Negative values are rounded to zero. The Hscore has weight 0.5 when computing the total score.
