  • Assignments

    Each week there is one home assignment: The solution to the home assignment in the exercise sheet of the week m=1,...,6 is to be returned via MyCourses to the course assistant Pauliina Hirvi (M329) before the exercise session of the week m+1. In the exercise session of week m+1, the assistant reviews model solutions for the home assignment in the m:th exercise sheet as well as those for the non-homework problems in the (m+1):th exercise sheet. (For example, the solution to the home assignment of the first exercise sheet should be returned before the exercise session on Friday, March 10.)

    Although the non-homework problems do not produce exercise points, it is recommendable to consider them before having a look at the model solutions or attending the associated exercise session.

    Returning your answers

    Please return all your answers answers as one file, preferably .pdf typeset with LaTeX or similar. For exercises involving programming, return also the code files separately, i.e. not embedded in the LaTeX document but as runnable files. However, the outputs of your code (figures, numerical results, observations, etc.), i.e. the answers to the exercises should be in the report file. The code is mainly for debugging. The default programming language for this course is MATLAB. Returning the exercises in some other language is also possible, but please discuss with the assistant first.
