  • (1) You should bring an ID to the exam.

    (2) No calculators or notes of any kind are permitted.

    (3) There is no formula sheet, but if a questions needs some unusual formula then it will be provided. But it is expected that you know the basic formulas and facts.

    (4) In general, I do not expect you to know things that were not covered in lectures or in the exercises. Please refer to the ''Lecture Blog'' section for the content of each lecture.

    (5) Here you can find an old examRemark: some details and content of the course changes from year-to-year. And also a given exam can not cover all the topics in the course. So do not reply on this exam as a guide on what to study. Rather, just use it for a bit of practise.

    If there is anything you are unsure of concerning the exam or the course in general please do not hesitate to ask.

    Special exam requests:

    is for students who will take an exam for a course MS-A/C/E#### offered by the Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis and who:

    (1)  Require individual arrangements (e.g. 1 extra hour). To qualify for an individual arrangement you must submit your Aalto issued "individual study arrangement / henkilökohtaiset opintojärjestelyt" certificate.

    (2) Have an exam conflict with another math exam and wish to take two exams at the same time in a total of **4 hours**. If you have a conflict with a non-math exam then you must email the contact below.

    You will be contacted by the exam organizers within 2 day of the exam, informing you of the exam location. The information you submit will only be seen by the exam organizers and will be deleted after the exam period.
