To-watch before the Thursday 15th September session. Check out the video about the introduction to "What is a Startup?" by Kalle Airo

Also, another video that we think students of Startup Experience would find useful regarding the well-being of students and how to deal with anxiety. We did an interview with the psychologists who will be working closely with us and you all.
For Tuesday 20th Sep, please view this video beforehand. Simo will walk us through prototyping and we will discuss how and what to prototype for your project.

And Simo has another video introducing Design Factory, if you need to build something, DEFA has everything you would need.

Fill out this process checklist with your answers

You will need to revise your answers from the previous sprint. The teaching team will go through your answers and address them during workshops and lab times on Tuesdays. We will track the progress of the team based on the answers and how it changes every sprint.

This is a team assignment. One representative can fill out the process checklist but it must be done together as a team and not split up to smaller groups of questions.

Provide a preliminary prototyping plan. Of course, you will need to update and revisit your plan repeatedly, based on what you learn in each iteration. We have some questions to guide you:

      1. What type of prototyping do you plan to do?
      2. What are you testing?
      3. Why are you testing it?

      1. What are your main contribution to the project and the team during sprint 1 and sprint 2 ie. topic ideation, team formation, idea validation, ect.?
      2. What did you do for the team to work better together?
      3. How did you use the course content to understand the problem, and customer needs and improve your team dynamics?
      4. What can be improved regarding your contribution to the team and the project's progress? Reflect on your progress and performance.

Watch the following video (which might be familiar to you from the pre-materials of this course) and focus especially on the part about psychological inflexibility:

Question for reflecting on your own:

What does psychological inflexibility mean and which elements of it are familiar to you?
