Integrated Antennas

The topic for Autumn 2022 is integrated antennas.
Antennas on-chip and antennas-on-package are emerging topic for mmWave IC designers. In this course we will take the first steps into this domain. We will study the basics of antenna design in this context, and study the interconnections in between the antenna and the transceiver input.
The course will consist of presentations given by the students, and associated homeworks. We will exercise the use of CST software for antenna design, and each student makes an individual design project.
The first meeting is on October 4th.
We will meet at the meeting room 2103 at Maarintie 8.
