HOMEWORK BEFORE WEEK 1

Other than that, there is no homework before the first week—just read the basic course information and come to the first meeting!
MONDAY CONTEST
On Monday (September 5), we will have a solo contest.
You will need to create a personal CSES user account at cses.fi/register if you do not have an account yet. Please make sure you use your personal CSES user account to take part in the contest.
The contest will be available at cses.fi/402/list/. The contest will automatically open at 16.20 sharp, and it will end at 17.50 sharp. You will get points based on the number of tasks that you solved correctly during the contest.
Once the contest is over, please fill in the form below to record your score.
WEDNESDAY CONTEST
On Wednesday (September 7), we will have a team contest. We will assign students to teams at random at 16.15, so please be in the class room punctually!
We will create one CSES account for each team. Please make sure all team members use the same team account to take part in the contest.
The contest will be available at cses.fi/403/list/. The contest will automatically open at 16.20 sharp, and it will end at 17.50 sharp. You will get points based on the number of tasks that your team solved correctly during the contest.
