    Overview & Learning Goals:
    

    The main goal of this individual assignment (Parts 1 to 3) is to perform a real, but simplified, ESG research analysis of a case company.
    

    In the first part of the assignment (Part 1) the primary objective is to understand the case company value creation proposition and identify the financially material Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues facing your case company, based on the Sustainability Accounting Standard Board framework.

    In the second part of the assignment (Part 2) the objective is to assess the case company ESG performance based on the information and performance metrics about the ESG risks and opportunities you identified for your case company (in the Part 1).

    In the third part of the assignment (Part 3) the objective is to get familiar with ESG ratings, their methodology and its use for ESG performance analysis. Hence, based on ESG scores provided by the KLD MSCI ESG ratings dataset, you will complement the ESG performance analysis of your case company.
