B. Kieloppi. Verbityypit 3 ja 4 ja kpt-vaihtelu
Read and translate the dialogue on page 157/218. Then look at the verbs kuunnella and tavata together. What do you notice about the kpt-changes?
Look at the verbs pelätä, maata and juosta. What kind of kpt-change happens here?
Conjugate the verbs tykätä and ajatella together. These verbs behave in the same way as the ones on page 157: the infinitive is weak and the conjugations in the present tense are strong.
If tykätä is the weak form (one k), what is the strong form?
If ajatella is the weak form (one t), what is the strong form?
We will be conjugating these together in the main session, so you’ll see if you got it right!

Vapaa (partitiivi: vapaata) = available, free
Ruoka = food
Kutsu = invitation
