    The practice presentations are video-recorded in class. The video will be used as the basis for the Self-evaluation assignment related to the practice session.

    Latest on the day of your practice session, submit here the practice presentation slides. After the practice session, submit the Self-evaluation.

    As part of the Final presentation task, each student participates in
    - 1 rehearsal session with a small group, giving and receiving feedback, and analyses their own videotaped practice talk (A7).
    -  1 conference: as a speaker and as a member of the audience giving feedback to one other speaker (A8).  The presentation will be video recorded.
    

    THE REHEARSAL SESSION is your opportunity to practise the whole presentation with the slides and a small audience, to try the equipment and get feedback from your peers and the teacher.
    

    HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE REHEARSAL
    

    • Prepare your slides. -> submit to MyCourses
      It is important that you can practise realistically using the slides and synchronising your speech with the supportive visual information. These slides are for your practice talk, so they don't need be completely ready or perfect yet. After the rehearsal, you can still make any changes or improvements that you might find necessary.
       -      You can use the slide templates attached below or a design of your own choice.

    • Practise the talk  at home a few times before this rehearsal to ensure that it remains within the given time limits, 8-10 minutes

    REHEARSAL SESSION
    We'll meet in our regular classroom to get started, and each students will only attend one practice session.

    AFTER THE REHEARSAL,  complete A7, Self-evaluation. Submit to MyCourses.
    

    • Watch and analyse your own presentation, and fill in the self-evaluation and analysis form, A7. Do this within 48 h from the rehearsal, when the things are still fresh in your mind.
