  Welcome to the Public speaking course!

  We meet on campus on Mondays 8.1.-12.2.2024 at 12.30-17.15. The classroom is U402, Otakaari 1. 
  

  During the course we will practise public speaking in a practical way. We will do a variety of exercises to practice performing in different contexts. At each session you will be given a performance task to prepare for. 
  

  Before the first session, reflect on yourself as a performer:
  

  - What are your strengths as a performer?

  - How do you want to develop yourself?

  - What kind of performer do you feel you are?

  - What goals do you set yourself for this course?

  - Do you have any hopes or expectations for this course?

  You can write down the above questions for yourself. In the first session, you will discuss your thoughts in small groups.
