  • Welcome to hear and discuss exciting insights about entrepreneurial mindset and entrepreneurial ways of working, which will be useful in both large and small corporations!

    Aalto Ventures Program (AVP) is happy to present this Learning Module to the students of this course! The module aims at inspiring student curiosity towards building and applying entrepreneurial attitude and skills in studies and work life.

    Not everyone ever considers being an entrepreneur, whereas building entrepreneurial skills and mindset are beneficial to everyone, and make a big difference for you in any kind of an organization.  The objective of this compact two-session module is to share insight about business and work-life aspects and opportunities, which CHEM graduates are likely to encounter. 


    The intended learning outcomes of the module:


    Requirements to complete the module:

    1. Attending both lectures
    2. Completing the Entrepreneurial Mindset reflection task - Deadline on March 8th, 2024
    3. Completing the Final Assignment - Deadline on March 8th, 2024

    If you need to miss a lecture, there will be compensation tasks available with the same deadline as for the final assignment.

    The teacher carrying out the practical teaching in this module is Sonja Hilavuo (sonja.hilavuo@aalto.fi) from the Aalto Ventures Program.

      Welcome to join this interactive session on how to differentiate positively in any workplace by applying the various aspects of entrepreneurial mindset in your ways of working.

      You might wish to build a corporate career, have a rewarding role in a smaller company, work in an NGO  or perhaps establish a start-up,  and in all these cases honing your insight, habits, customer-centricity and generally ways of working will pay off.

      In this first session we'll discuss particularly professional growth, self-leadership and identification of opportunitues.

      In this second session we'll discuss understanding customers, business-to-business (B2B) customers in particular, and the importance of commercial partnerships. Furthermore, we explore building and communicating value proposions.
