- Before you can start working on the exercises, read The purpose of the nine exercises and choose your group
Intended learning outcomes
After carrying out the exercises in this self-help material, the students
- are able to describe their skills, motivation and strengths
- can analyse and express characteristics of their skills profile based on studies and work experience
- have practiced writing job search documents (e.g. a CV)
- can imagine one’s skills in a context of work and make a meaningful and valuable action plan for oneself
- understand the importance of self-efficacy (to rely on oneself to achieve) and wellbeing (live by one’s values) for shaping their future
Instructions
The sequence of exercises is numbered from one to nine. It is useful to complete the exercises in that order. It is not necessary to submit your CV. The deadlines and course practicalities will be discussed and decided upon in the kick-off session. In addition to the kick-off session, you must attend the the finishing session of these exercises (for details, see the corresponding sections in this workspace).
Having completed an exercise, reflect the results. What do the results of that reflection add to your self-awareness, your current thinking and goals of a good future as an individual and as a member of a society? How can you use the results? What can you do next? What will you do next?
NOTE! Career planning exercises should be finished by January 31, 2024 at 23:59.
