      Explanation of columns:

      • lecture = Activity points from lectures (11), max 23. NOTE: 1+1 extra points are still available from Exam and Course Feedback
      • AP10 = Activity points scaled to 0..10
      • 0intro etc = Points from home assignments (9). NOTE: 15 points still available for the last one (Forum), 4 points for 3postagging (19/23 so far) and 6 points for 4vsms (15/21 so far). So, totally max 25 points still coming (see rows "max" and "TBA" at the bottom of the file)
      • home = Total home assignment points, max 156 points. NOTE: Forum and manually graded sections included in 156, without them 131/156
      • HP50 = Home assignment points scaled to 0..50
      • AHP60 = AP10 + HP50, max 60
      • Exam% = If you take the exam, the percentage of exam points needed before you start gaining more AHP points. This is the effect of the 40 AHP points cap. NOTE: The remaining home assignment and extra activities may still increase your points.
      • Remember that only 60% of the final grade comes from AHP60,  the project is worth 40%.

      • AHEP = max (AHP, AHP (with the cap 40) + E20)
      • NOTE: The remaining home assignment and extra activities may still increase your points.
      • AHEG = The unrounded grade from Activities, Home assignments and Exam. AHEG = (AHEP - 20) / (0.93*60 - 20) *5
      • Remember that only 60% of the Final grade comes from AHEG,  the project is worth 40%.

Final scores and grades, status of 16 June File PDF

      Explanation of columns:

      • The Final Grade is rounded from AHEGG (short for Activity, Home assignments, Exam and Group Grade). A star (*) after the grade mean that the grade may still round upwards when the missing assignment points are counted in. These cases will be submitted in SISU when the final grade is known.
      • AHEGG is a weighted average of AHEG and Group project Grade (GG). AHEGG = 0.6*AHEG + 0.4*GG.
      • AHEG was computed by formula:  AHEG = (AHEP - 20) / (0.93*60-20) *5. Thus 21 points (out of 60) was required to get a non-zero score. A negative score was rounded to zero.
      • To compute the lecture activity and home assignment points compensated by exam points (AHEP), the activity points (lect) were first scaled to 0..10 and home exercise points (Home) were scaled to 0..50 points (AP10 + HP50 = AHP60). Max 20 points could be there substituted by exam points scaled to 0..20 (E20). This is done by capping AHP60 to 40 and then adding E20.
      • Feedback of the final project report have been provided on MyCourses.
