Topic outline

  • Evaluation session 1

    Date: 20.2.2024, 14:15 - 16:00
Location: TU1 Saab Auditorium (Maarintie 8, Otaniemi).
    Teacher: Anne Lähteenmäki, Joni Tammi

During the exam week, we will have an evaluation-focused session during the lecture slot. This midterm evaluation session, and the second one at the end of the course, replace part of the final exam.

During the session we will go deeper into writing and reading learning diaries, and you also get general feedback for the first learning diary entry.

Everyone must participate the session or do a compensating assignment before they can participate the peer-assignment tasks. If you cannot make it to the evaluation session for a good reason, you can fill the requirement by completing the compensating assignment below.

[Preliminary work and compensating assignment become available a week before the session.]

    • Not available unless: You are a(n) Student

      Before the session

There will be no after-the-lecture homework, but before the lecture you need to read the three example learning diaries below and think how you would grade them using the Learning diary assessment rubric (suggestion: open the grading rubric in a new window to have it in sight while you read the examples).

We will be discussing the grading during the session, so please read them beforehand.
