  • There is one learning diary assignment per module (6 in total) where students constructively and critically reflect on their learning of the module learning content, and their lecture participation.

The learning diaries are individual assignments, i.e. they should be done alone. A learning diary should address:

    • Content presented and shared in lecture sessions,
    • pre-reading materials,
    • article review presentations, and
    • other possible material related to the course.
    • Also, feedback on the module is considered a merit and should be mentioned in the learning diary.

The diaries do not need to be lengthy, but they should be personal. If you want a guideline, ca. 250-500 words would be a sufficient length. In your learning diary, focus on dealing with the individual issues or new perspectives that were most important to you in the content or implementation of each module. You can use these notes later to help you write your course essay.

Submit your module-specific learning diary always before the first session of the next module.
