This module focuses on the productivity paradox of service operations and discusses the opportunities that modular solution designs provide for improving the productivity of the service business. Key themes include the complexity of product-service solutions, application of the principles of modularity in service solutions, capabilities needed to develop modular solutions, and the implications of modularity on the production system.

This session focuses on the principles of modularity and the constituents of a modular solution architecture.

Wed 6.3.2024: Case session on modularity in service
