Topic outline

  • A maximum of 30 STACK points (from all STACK task packs 1-3 in total) can be earned from STACK tasks and can be used to replace any other missing exercise points. The STACK exercises can also be used as a refresher at the end of the course.

Here are some rules how the STACK points are calculated:
    • The penalty for a wrong answer is 10% of the remaining points.
    • Each set of problems can be started from scratch 2 more times, but then all problems will be assigned new number values and each problem will have to be started again from scratch. On the other hand, the total score of the previous attempt remains and the score of the best attempt remains valid. E.g.: 11 points for the first attempt, 17 points for the second and 16 points for the third; final score 17 points.

After the deadline, the model solutions of the exercises will only be visible to those students who have opened the package at least once.

STACK exercises do not cover all the topics of the course very well, so it is always worthwhile to look at the regular exercises and their model solutions.

If you find an error or malfunction, please send email to lecturer and tell in which STACK problem the error occurred.
