    Welcome to the course Collaborative evaluation of interactive systems

    LEARNING OUTCOMES: After the course, you can select methods for collaborative evaluation of usability and user experience. You are able to design and carry out an evaluation of interactive systems in different contexts. You know how to communicate your results to various stakeholders in order to impact the further development of the system or service.

    CONTENT: The course introduces several methods for collaborative evaluation of interactive systems. The methods for evaluation of usability and user experience are applied in project works conducted in cooperation with customers. Findings further the development of the evaluated interactive system or service.

    ASSESSMENT METHODS: Group work, individual assignments.

    The weekly sessions are arranged on Mondays (12:15-14) and Thursdays (10:15-12). Some of the sessions will be held online. Participation to all meetings and lectures is strongly advised. There will be some mandatory sessions (mainly presentation sessions). The first lecture is arranged on Mon Feb 26th at 12:15 (on campus, room TU3).

    Note that the course also requires working outside the lecture times on the group and individual assignments. 

    Workload estimation:
    in total 5cr*27h = 135h, which is about 10h/week during 14 weeks.

    Rules about using generative AI tools: In this course, you are encouraged to discuss course related perspectives and ideas with other students and the course staff, but all text and other contents that you submit must be written/made by yourself. You can use ideas that you find online, but you are not allowed to copy text from sources without referencing it properly and according to academic best practices. You are not allowed to submit any text or images that are e.g. generated by tools like ChatGPT or other generative AI tools.
