Topic outline

  • In our fourth session, we will explore the various ways companies respond to shocks before they escalate into larger crises, as well as their reactions to full-blown crises. To illustrate these responses, we will study the shocks faced by Lego and Guinness, and analyze their subsequent reactions. A focal point of our discussion will be understanding why these particular companies chose their respective solutions, considering both the pressures from the external environment and their internal capabilities.
