Some general guidelines on how to write and structure your research plan.
Please note: "preliminary research plan" for communicating your topic and ideas to your supervisor can be only 1-2 pages.
The actual research plan you present in the seminar should be more substantial, so that the opponent/discussant (as well as others) get a sufficient idea of what you're planning to do and how.
Note: if your research has already progressed farther than being a plan (you've already put some work on it), do not restrict your self with the plan template. Please, make sure that the "plan" reflects the actual current status of your research. Also, email your presentation slides to the opponent beforehand in a case where the presentation contains more information than the uploaded plan.

You are encouraged to use the Turnitin software throughout your thesis writing process to check your work for originality.

- Originality report is created immediately at the first submission. Re-submissions are allowed until the due date. It may take up to 24 hours to process originality reports for re-submissions.
- Student papers are stored in the Aalto repository.
- Student papers are checked against stored student papers, the Internet, journals, periodicals, publications, and the Aalto repository.
Please familiarize yourself with Turnitin's Instructions for Students before getting started.
