Topic outline

• Exercise Assignment
  The course assignment consists of parts that are related to the lectures. The students are expected to form groups of 4-5 students that do the project. The topic will be announced on the first exercise session on 27.11, which is on Zoom and is mandatory.

  The Zoom link for all sessions is the same as for lectures and is found clicking here.

  If you have significant experience project experience that you would like to share with others, you can present this experience instead of the course assignment. Contact Matti Rossi for details.

  There are three return boxes below the topics here, one for team formation, one for the presentation and one for final report.

  E5	Thu 23.11. (10-12)	Status check for projects. If you are confident that you know what you are doing, this is optional, but it is good to come and check where you are.
  E6	Mon 27.11 (23:59)	Presentation submission for evaluation.
  	Thu 30.11. (10:00-13:00)	Case presentations in person in Otaniemi. The place is Computer Science building room T1.

  	Fri   1.12. (23:59)	Final report delivery.

  Returning the assignment

  
  The team assignments will be returned as one document, or one document and one presentation (which includes the case report ) on  December  1st at 23:59. The rough report outline will be provided in phase II of the exercise. You need to submit the presentation only for evaluation on 27.11.

  Shared storage

  If you need shared storage space for the project data, the easiest is to share a OneDrive folder and you can get Aalto OneDrive instructions here.

  If you have DropBox or similar, you can use that also for data sharing.

    There are two things to return here:
    

    1: A brief charter of the project, template can be found here and a

    simple charter example here.  

    Include the names and student numbers of the team members and submit just one time for the whole group through this link!

    
    

    
    

    2: A detailed project plan with timing and issue trees. Use the templates provided by the EY Parthenon slides and a suitable timetable, like a GANTT chart or similar.

    These can be combined into one, or submitted as one file. Only one submission per team. 

    The plan is for the project that your group does until the deadline of the course assignment on 1.12. 

    Please upload it as one or two word or pdf files.
