    The re-take exam takes place on 5.6.2024. It can be found is Sisu. Exercise and bonus points are valid also in the re-take exam.


    The exam of the course takes place on Wednesday 13.12 (9.00–12.00) in lecture rooms A and C. Participants of the course have been automatically registered to the course exam.


    You are allowed to use a scientific calculator (funktiolaskin) in the exam; e.g. graphic and symbolic calculators are forbidden. You are also allowed to bring a handwritten memory aid sheet of size A4 to the exam, with text only on one side and with your name and student number in the upper right corner.


    We organize an exam review session (tenttiintutustumistilaisuus) on Friday 15.12.2023, 15:00-16:00 in Riihi (R001/Y225a), where you can come to see your exam and discuss about the grades/grading.

    You should submit this form at least 1 week before the exam date. The earlier, the better!



    Grading of the course will be performed as follows, using a monotone deterministic function f:

    • Passing via written exam + handed-in homework: The grade is determined by the formula f(3e/5+12h/55+(b/5)2/3) where e are the points from the exam (max. 24p), h are the points from the returned homework (max. 44p), and b = q + c are the bonus points, where q are the points from the online quizzes (max. 11p) and c are the points from the classroom exercises (max. 12p). 
    • Passing via written exam only: The grade is determined by the formula f(e), where e are the points from the exam (max. 24p).


    In either case, you must gain at least 9 points from the exam.
