    Write an email home to your family. In the text, tell and describe where you live and what you do.
    

    • Tell about your home: what it's like, what's in it. Use rooms, furniture, adjectives...
      
    • Tell about the area you live in: Where the shops are, is there a park or the sea nearby, where the bus stop/metro etc. is, how far it is to the university, how you get to the university, etc.
    • Tell also what your everyday life is like and what you do on weekends.

    You can look at the model in chapter 5 in this city.
    

    Please, use the vocabulary and structures that we have learned in the course.
    Don't use translators - it is really boaring to read Google translator text instead your personal writing. I want to see how YOU use
    the Finnish language and how creative you can be with it to express what your want. I want to give feedback to YOU not Google.
    Check only vocabulary if needed but other than that - use your own languagse skill.
    

    When evaluating the writing I focus on message (not mistakes!). At this stage, I don't expect you to perform at native level, but to be able to use the vocabulary and structures that we have studied. I appreciate that you can communicate your ideas with the knowledge you have now.
    

    If your text is totally translator's text I won't grade it. I can easily see when students are using structures and expressions that are above their level at this point.
