VALITSE (choose): TEKSTI TAI VIDEO
1) Imagine that you are going to rent out your own apartment/room for the upcoming summer holiday. Write/give a short description about your place in Finnish. If you choose the video, make one and show your apartment (like a tour).
- Use housing vocabulary: rooms, furniture.
- You also have to use the possessive structure and existential clause (There is... There is not...) in positive and negative form. Tell where your place is, how many rooms you have, what do you have in your rooms.
2) Think of and write/say something creative that makes others choose/rent YOUR APARTMENT/ROOM.
3) Add a photo/photos of your apartment too (if written text)
Show your room or some rooms in your apartment on the video.
Write about 100 words. The video: 1-2 min.
SANASTO:
vuokrataan: for rent
vuokra: rentkiva: nice
kaunis: beautiful
nätti: pretty
kodikas: cosy
valoisa: bright
Write the text and make the video on your own level, based on the instructions.
If you choose the video: be natural, rehearse your speech.
You have to speak and not read the text. You may use some key words (if necessary).

Write a short (50-100 words) text in English reflecting your language learning process. You can answer these questions, but you don't have to answer all of them.
1) How well do you think you know the topics we have covered in the course? Which of the things you think you know well, which require more practise? How well do you think you did in the test and text assignments?
2) Is it easy for you to follow the lessons and complete activities? How well do you think you performed during group work?
3) Are you happy with your study efforts? Have you had enough time to complete homework exercises?
4) Have you used the structures you have learnt in the course in your everyday life? If not, why?
5) Which grade would you give yourself? (1: pass , 2: fair , 3: good, 4: very good, 5: excellent)
You can also write any comments about study contents or methods.
