Final Assignment
The final assignment can be written individually or in a pair:
Write an essay in which you analyze particular ways of strategizing at an organization depending on its' challenge or issue. You are free to choose the organization to analyze. In addition to the reading materials, apply three analysis frameworks that you learned during the course. Make sure to connect your analyses into one cohesive analytical entity – choosing a theme for your analysis might be helpful.
Analysis frameworks include:
Reeves et al. (2012)
Snowden & Boone (2007)
Carleton et al. (2013): contains several, use any one analysis tool
Johnson et al. (2008)
Goleman (2000)
Mantere & Vaara (2008)
Business model components (from Whittington et al., 2020)
Smith & Colgate (2017)
Payne (2011) and Payne et al. (2017)
Meyerson & Scully (1995)
Rouse (2018)
Poetz et al. (2014)
Perry-Smith & Manucci (2017)

Each individual or pair is required to conduct one interview at the organization to be analyzed. The content of the interview must be reflected upon in the essay. For any company, you should also look for some available public materials to support your analysis (e.g. financial analyses, annual reports, news stories, company websites, product or service evaluations, etc.).
The maximum length of the final assignment is 1900 words. References, tables and figures are not included in word count. Use Times New Roman Font 12 and standard margins. Please organize your assignment by bolded subheadings.
Remember to put your name(s) on the first page of the document. If you write in a pair, both should upload the same assignment, with the same file name, in MyCourses.
Upload your assignment on MyCourses by Thu 30.11.2023 at 23.59. Name the document as follows: LastnameFirstname_final (/LastnameFirstname_LastnameFirstname_final).
