•Take the role of a sustainable built environment expert and reflect on how themes introduced in the course apply to the case
•You can alter the context of the case if you want, e.g.,
-High-income area --> low- or middle-income area / whole world / etc.
-Normal conditions --> disaster conditions / etc.
•The cases can be anything: business case, transportation design, philosophical essay, bachelor’s thesis…
•The quality of the case does not affect the grading in any way

•Talk to course staff if you struggle to think of any suitable case for the portfolio
•Make sure you address all themes of the course in some way. However, you can concentrate on some themes more than others based on what you find to be most relevant or interesting for your case
•The portfolio is supposed to be concise and the workload equal to approx. 1 credit (=27 h)
The portfolio will be evaluated on the following criteria:
1. Substance: All the themes of the course have been addressed and learning outcomes are fulfilled (see Sisu)
2. Form: The portfolio elaborates the topics in an innovative and logical way
3. Research: Both your own reasoning and literature are presented in a transparent way
