Due by the end of 12 May (Thursday, 23:59).
Submit your slides that you are going to use to present on 13 May (Friday) in PDF.
CONTENTS (suggestions):
(1) Present who you are as a designer. You may consider a narrative, a pitch, a role, etc. Think about the whole narrative to communicate with a specific group of audiences.
(2) Introduce key projects to support your argument from the first point. This should include the project that you chose to revise during this course.
(3) For each project, explain a brief description (for instance, consider "process-outcome-use-meaning/goal-material/production", "when-where-why-what-how-for whom"), visual(s), and your role/involvement if it was done as a group.
(4) Conclude by revisiting how these projects help you be the designer you argued to be.
Make the overall visual aesthetic corresponding to your designer identity. You may present this if needed.
Each of you have 10 minutes to present and 5 minutes to get feedback from your peers and teachers.
EVALUATION CRITERIA FOR THE ASSIGNMENT:
- Clarity (how clear your argument is, how your role is defined)
- Coherence (relationship between your identity and supportive projects)
- Relevance (how your identity as a designer is related to a specific domain / group of audience)
- Reflection (how you connect back to your learning experiences from this study programme)
- Presentation (your presentation skills, how your visual identity is aligned to your narrative, presentation participation)
