The purpose of this final learning journal is to reflect on your learning experiences on this course. This learning journal can be casual, so please do not worry about academic style, punctuation or topic sentences when answering. :)

1) With regard to your own learning, has this course instigated any change in your writing practices or presentation style? If so, please describe what change has been initiated. If not, please explain why no change has been initiated.
2) With regard to the learning goals of this course listed below, which one of learning goals do you feel you met the best? Why do you think this happened?
3) Is there a particular learning goal (listed below), which you feel you did not meet? Why do you think this happened?
4) This course so far has involved the six group meetings (in Zoom because of Covid) + practice sessions and final presentations.
. What do you think of the balance between class meetings vs. independent activities? Do you think this course could or should be offered in an entirely independet format (i.e. no class meetings?) Or would you add class meetings? Or keep it like it is? Any thoughts?

Learning goals of this course:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to
- Recognise the strategies and elements that enhance clarity and audience-friendliness in both oral and written academic communication
- Apply these strategies and elements in oral presentations and writing related to their field of study
- Distinguish between formal and informal styles of communication and vary the style according to the target audience text type
- Apply a process approach to the development of oral and written work
- Document sources properly and select strategies to avoid plagiarism
