Sign up for one of the sessions scheduled for week 4 or week 5.  The practice presentations will be video-recorded.

IMPORTANT: please either bring a memory stick or have your slides available on some cloud service

The rehearsal session is your opportunity to practise the whole presentation with the slides and a small audience, to try the equipment and get feedback from your peers and the teacher.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE REHEARSAL

• Prepare your slides.
  It is important that you can practise realistically using the slides and synchronising your speech with the supportive visual information. These slides are for your practice talk, so they don't need be completely ready or perfect yet. After the rehearsal, you can still make any changes or improvements that you might find necessary.
   -      You can use the slide templates attached below or a design of your own choice.
  
• Practise the talk  at home a few times before this rehearsal to ensure that it remains within the given time limits, 8-10 minutes

REHEARSAL SESSION
Come to U402 (in WEEK 4 or WEEK 5, depending on the group). You will only attend the session for which you had signed up. If you cannot be there in person for health reasons or because you are travelling, join via Zoom and make sure you have a working camera and mic.

• You will work in small groups of 4-5 students. During the talk, the audience will focus on specific features of the presentation according to given guidelines (attached below). After each talk, the group will have a few minutes for discussing the presentation and giving feedback.
  
• The practice talk will be video-taped, and you will complete A7 based on the videorecoding.
  

• Watch and analyse your own presentation based on the self-evaluation and analysis form, A7. Do this within 48 h from the rehearsal, when the things are still fresh in your mind.
