Aalto-RCA Task 2: Design Hack (Workshop) (AU + RCA)
Task 2 Design Hack (Workshop) (AU + RCA)
Four mixed Aalto-RCA groups, for every group:
Problem / opportunity statement: service design proposition and specification showing how your insights are translated into the key attributes of any potential solution. Think of the solution as being systemic in nature. Include a service blueprint, overview of a business model/value proposition and a story/narrative of the service proposal.
What is the problem you are addressing? What is the format and category of the service you will be creating? What is the scope of the intervention?
Why is it important? What kind of evidence do we have to support the relevance of the endeavor? What does success look like?
Who are we helping? Who are the stakeholders involved? What do they need? What can they contribute?
Mission statement: visualisation of key concepts for the experience and prototypes and validation of key touchpoints in the journey. Explanation of aesthetic strategy and effectiveness.
Where will it be implemented? Is there a specific area of the site? When do we expect to carry out the prototypes?
How are we going to act? What is your implementation strategy? What is the plan? What are the key milestones?
Deliverables:
Research & Insights: team report to include activities done, definition of a problem area, systems map, stakeholder analysis identifying the key players, a baseline of user’s journey for the selected area and insights that support an opportunity for a service design proposition
