Next week, it is time for usability tests. I'll give you guidance on Thrusday morning, but you can start user recruitment now already. To understand what will happen in the test, please study the lecture and reading materials, and SUS questionnaire, available in the Materials section (slides coming soon).
The tests should take place by Thursday 9th, and the usability test report should be submitted by Friday 10th. Please aim to run all tests in the beginning of the week to avoid stress on Friday (note: Monday 6th is Independence Day).
What to do by Friday 10th:
- Recruit 2 testers from the target user group
- Run a pilot test with a classmate (a day before the actual tests start)
- Run the actual tests with 2 target users
- Analyse the findings
- Compile and submit a report of the usability tests
