Hello everyone,
We would want to give you a warm welcome to the Entrepreneurship Module of Academic Learning Community course, forming approximately a 0.5 ECTS part of the course's workload. We are happy to have you onboard on the journey of entrepreneurship learning. The module will be structured as two compulsory online contact sessions on the 21nd of March and 28th of March from 8.30-10.00. However, before we kick-off, we would like you to go through our pre-reading list. Please, be ready to discuss topics from the list during the sessions. Workload estimation for a pre-reading package is maximum of 4 hours.

Please note that it is expected that everyone studies at least Topic 1 before the study session on Monday, March 21st. Topic 2 is not required but contains intriguing materials for the interested students.

What is a startup? Why most new companies are not startups? Please read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Startup_company and familiarize yourself with the basic idea of what is a startup. You can use any additional sources, like https://www.startupcommons.org/what-is-a-startup.html, too.
Please watch the enclosed video on Havu Cosmetics as our guest speaker will be providing you additional founder perspectives from another company.
Although one too seldom stops thinking about it, in our current world filled with uncertainty many things have been moving to much better direction.
