Voluntary carbon literacy- Learning about your individual climate impact
Dear students,
Since this is a course that aims to provide you with an understanding of how businesses tackle sustainability issues, we did not cover much about how we, as individuals, can initiate change. Here, we would like to provide you with some links and resources. In this way, those of you who are passionate about sustainability can also take individual action.
1. Watch climate change facts here
2. See temperature anomalies by country here
3. Check out Project Drawdown to learn about climate solutions
https://www.drawdown.org/solutions/table-of-solutions
4. Test your knowledge: Go to the link below and take a quiz about your knowledge regarding which sustainability solutions would create more climate impact.
https://edition.cnn.com/interactive/2019/04/specials/climate-change-solutions-quiz/
5. Measure your ecological footprint: Do you know your ecological footprint? Ecological footprint is your impact on the environment, expressed as the amount of land required to sustain their use of natural resources. You can go to the link below and measure your own footprint. We recommend that you analyse this, and reflect, which areas as an individual could you do a better job?

6. How do we adjust to climate change and how do we prevent it: Learn more about adaptation and mitigation
7. Test your knowledge on impacts: How well do you know which countries, regions, continents have more impact per country or per person? Go to the Global Carbon Atlas link we provided you below and explore different countries, their emissions data using map view and chart view.

For more detailed information on specific countries, you can also follow climate watch:
