LEARNING OUTCOMES

After completing the course, the students will be able to (i) understand a bioproduct mill as a whole, (ii) create mass and energy balances for bioproduct mills and (iii) identify possibilities for product and process development.

    Bioproduct mill processes for recovery of byproducts, recycling process waters, regeneration of process chemicals and production of heat and power. Mass and energy balances.
