      Join the English module LC-1117 Integrated Oral and Written Skills (Integrated with KIG-C1010)!

      LC-1117 is organized in connection with KIG-C1010, and it grants you the 3 ECTS needed for fulfilling the university foreign language requirement in English. LC-1117 content and schedule are directly connected to those of KIG-C1010, and part of the assignments are shared. LC-1117 has room for 20 students, and the group meets on campus on Wednesday afternoons 12.30-15.45 from 10 January 2024 until 27 March 2024.  Note: the course will partly extend over to period IV.

      Languages

      The official teaching language on the course is English. You are allowed to submit all your work in English, Finnish, or Swedish. However, students on the integrated English language course need to submit their work in English.

      Grading

      The means of learning on this course are lectures and related reading, assignments, and exam. The exam is voluntary.

      The grades are based on the combined assignment and exam points. With just the assignments it is possible to get a maximum grade of 3; with assignments and the exam it is possible to get a maximum grade of 5. Sufficient points must be gained from the exam in order for the exam points to be included in the grade calculation.
