5 Excellent report, clear and logical writing, student’s own ideas/consideration over and above the lecture content

4 Very good report, clear and logical writing, some attempts to reach beyond the lecture material

3 Solid report showing good understanding of the lecture

2 Reasonable effort, some understanding of the lecture

1 Little effort, just barely acceptable

0 Fail, or not delivered
