In order to have the negotiation, you need to make the following preparations:

• Estimate rough amount of funding that you will need to reach profitable growth
  
• Sketch your funding plan = rough path of funding you will raise for your new venture
  
• Decide your first funding source (angels, bank, Business Finland Tempo, Finnvera loan...)
  
• Sketch your funding proposal to this financier and approach financier with email
  
• Send it before by March 19. midnight to tuomas@maisala.net with topic "AVP: your team name"
  

1. define who are you approaching: e.g. "We would like to apply funding from Business Finland"
   
2. state amount of funding e.g. 50ke and instrument you are applying for Tempo/loan/equity investment
   
3. include your pitch deck or other background materials
