the course, you will be submitting weekly assignments via MyCourses and receiving individual and/or group feedback from your teacher. Please make sure that you read this feedback. Submit all assignments via MyCourses, not via email.
Time Management.
In this course, you are welcome to set your own deadlines. However,
there is a last deadline that is the same for everyone on the course for each assignment. You are encouraged to submit the assignments before the
deadline. If you know that keeping deadlines (DLs) or starting early
enough on assignments is not your strength, please change the DLs to at least two days earlier so that you have that extra time, in case you need it. These DLs cannot be negotiated (unless illness with doctor’s certificate) and you are expected to complete all assignments and on time. Most deadlines will be on Monday mornings, however not all!
3 ECTs = 81 hrs in 6 weeks -> Please reserve about 13.5 hours a week for this course in your schedule.
The oral part accounts for approximately 1/3 of the workload, the textbook part for about 2/3, with individual variations to be expected.
Once Textbook assignment 1 (TA1) has been accepted by the teacher, you can continue working on the other TA assignments; you can even hand in early if this suits your own schedule better. Generally, however, I send out feedback to everyone at the same time.
Assignments
You can start with the OAs straight away and TA1 (i.e. once you have received a place on the course and the assignments have been opened). You should read (and take into account) the teacher feedback on TA1, OA2, and OA3 and the peer feedback on OA4b before submitting the following assignment/s unless otherwise advised during the course. Throughout the course, it is essential that you read both the group feedback and the individual feedback that you receive from your teacher. All assignments are mandatory.

Some find the schedule useful, others are happy following the course as posted
week by week.
NB! You can work on many of the assignments in advance if you prefer a faster pace. If you need your ECTs by a specific date, please inform the teacher no later than on Monday 23 May.

Note that a course week does not always correspond to a 7-day calendar week. When you read the Table, think of "week" as ending by the deadline. Therefore it also starts earlier so to speak.

The course follows strict deadlines. If for any reason you cannot keep a deadline due to unforeseen circumstances, please notify the teacher at your earliest convenience (please avoid missing deadlines though, as this will mean losing activity points that go into your course grade). If you are ill and need to miss a deadline, please present a doctor's certificate.
