For this assignment, you need to respond to ALL questions!
In the lecture, you formulated your purpose statement (if you missed the lecture, review the slides here and reach out if anything is unclear). In Part 1 of this homework assignment, you will benchmark this statement with engineers currently in the field to help think about potential career directions to consider.
In Part 2 of this homework assignment, you will reflect on what you believe are key capabilities for becoming an effective and impactful engineer based on your work in the course so far. You will identify one skill, one knowledge area, and one attitude relevant for creating a positive impact in pursuing the type of career you would find meaningful.
Grading
You can receive up to 4 points per question, resulting in a total of up to 24 points for the entire assignment. Grading rubrics for questions of part 1, and part 2 are different. We will use the following rubric to grade your responses:
