Cycles of Venus [3p]
We have talked a lot about the basic cycles of the Moon and the Sun, most of which are very familiar to us all. Let's now consider the cycles of Venus that were diligently followed, recorded, and predicted in ancient times. Astronomers of those days had patience and motivation to keep observing the planets for decades and centuries, and were therefore able to extract loads of information about them by using very simple tools.
Before going into the quiz questions, spend some time finding out what kinds of things are related to observing Venus in particular. You'll find plenty of information online, but remember that there are also a lot of misunderstandings, incorrect theories, complete bogus claims, and other non-astronomical things presented as facts, so remember to be critical about your sources.
In the quiz part you need information about various cycles of Venus, the concepts of morning star and evening star, inner or inferior planet, planetary phases (like Moon's phases), etc. When does it rise, when does it set, when would it be visible or invisible; where is it compared to other solar system objects, etc.
You can also "observe" Venus for several years, even decades, by watching the video below, or using simulators such as www.solarsystemscope.com (used in the video; the video also shows which options to choose to get the same views).
