Networking With Confidence (60 minutes)

Lucky breaks (read opportunities) favour individuals who develop, nurture and cultivate a diverse network of connections. Universities pay lots of lip service to their "network" but, to my surprise, provide very little guidance, practical advice and opportunity for "connections" of the university to strategically develop their own network. COVID prompted me to rapidly create a summer "course" (TuEV Connector) and an orientation video for SCI. For many, myself included, networking has always been considered a "full contact sport". How can we "keep our distance" and maintain the intimacy of face-to-face encounters with strangers?
