Overall, we are very excited to see a lot of interesting ML problems presented in your stage 1 submissions. However, we observed room for improvement with the comment in the peer reviews. At future stages, we wish to see more elaborated, specific and constructive feedback.

A number of you did not meet the deadline for either the peer review or the submission. Based on the origin policy of the course, these students would losing all the points for the entire submission. However, we are going to take on a more lenient approach as follows:

The "late submission" above refers to the few special submissions that we handled via email.

For example:
  1. If you got full points from your late submission, the final point will be 6.3.
  2. If you submitted your report on time, but missed the peer review deadline or did not review all reports assigned to you, you will lose 30% of the points from your submission (i.e. same as described above).
