The aim of the MSc thesis seminar is to provide and receive written and oral feedback on drafts of the MSc thesis. The seminar sessions provide a supportive forum to discuss research issues relevant to the particular stage of research with fellow students and the supervisor and make informed decisions how to develop the study further.
The seminar assists in structuring thesis work and stimulating progress. The regular meetings pace the writing and reading process and provide concrete deadlines and peer group pressure. Upon completion of the seminars, the student will be able to critically evaluate academic research.
