The course builds on the student's prior knowledge on synthesis through illustrations from recent literature.

Content (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020): 

Lectures and problem sessions give an insight into current synthesis problems. The second half of the course consists of portfolio learning: each student is assigned a topic in current synthesis, which they work on, building on the knowledge and eventually leading to a seminar presentation on the topic.
