Learning Outcomes (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020): 

Students understand the basic concepts of making technical drawings, and are able to use it in practice. Student knows how to produce dimensioning, scale and plan drawings both by hand and computer aided. Student can draw in scale and in perspective and knows the basics of geometric perspective. They can modify digital technical drawing and print in scale.

Content (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020): 

The course is an introduction to the tools used in making technical drawings by hand and by computer. Student learns to read and make drawings needed to design and build sets and to produce technical and perspective drawings. The 3D modeling workflow will be demonstrated with lectures and exercises.

Assessment Methods and Criteria (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020): 

Lectures, Supervised and independent exercises, Independent modeling project
80 % attendance and completed assignments.
Attending the first lessons is required.

Workload (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020): 

Supervised and/or independent work: 70%
Independent work 30%

Prerequisites (valid 01.08.2018-31.07.2020): 

Basic Computer skills.

The students will be accepted to the course in the following order:

-Students of Production Design and Design for the Performing Arts majors, for whom the course is compulsory.

- Students of Production Design and Design for the Performing Arts majors, for whom the course is optional.

- Exchange students of the above mentioned majors.

- Minor students whose major is costume design.

- Other minor students.

- Students whose major is costume design

- Other students of the Department of Film, Television and Scenography

- Other studentsMinimum/maximum group size: 4/10
